2008:

Twenty two years (1986) have passed since I made that first trip 600 miles down into Baja, California, Sur, Mexico to live on a beach for six months. I returned in 1996 and promised myself I would go back in 2007 but that didn’t happen. Maybe next year.

It is hard to believe all that I did and all that happened to me…and many of those adventures never made it into the book! It isn’t possible to put everything in.

First of all, I never dreamed I would be widowed at 45. Secondly, even though Jack and I thought about going full-timing "some day," it was beyond my comprehension that I would ever go on my own. Four years after Jack’s untimely death, I sold the house, moved into a RV, and traveled to Mexico. I experienced and learned to water ski, snorkel, wind surf, and explore caves and remote beaches, things I never dreamed I would even try.

At that time, I got into writing and photography and made it work to add purpose to my days and money to my coffers. I guess I still do that because I’ve never stopped and never looked back.

The book tells, in detail, the "How and the Why" of it all. Cry and dream and laugh with me. From the Sublime to the Ridiculous and back again, I offer you In Pursuit of a Dream.
